How to Service and Repair a Front Cross-Member on 2007 Jeep Liberty?

Before carrying out any service on the front cross-member, put engine support tool 8534 in place or any alternative and raise and support the vehicle. Remove the lower control arms, stabilizer bar, axle if fitted and the power steering rack as well. Remove bolts from the engine mount and use a laptop to support the engine cradle. With a grease pencil or similar, mark the engine support cradle position, removing the bolts and removing the engine cradle afterward.
