Is It Possible to Replace the Hood Hinge Without Detaching the Hood on 2008 Jeep Patriot?

To change the hood hinges, the hood does not have to be removed, since only the hinges themselves are replaced. Start by marking the place where the hood hinge will be on the hood using a grease pencil. Support the hood and next, take out the bolts that hold the hinge of the hood to the front fender. Take off the last two nuts that hold the hood hinge to the hood as the last step.
