  A: To perform maintenance on a gas engine's power steering pump, start by removing as much fluid as you can from the power steering reservoir. After that, take out the engine appearance cover and the pressure hose routing bracket bolt at the upper mount. Lift off the pressure hose from the pump's pressure port and release the clamp that grips the supply hose on the pump. After that, detach the supply hose from the pump and also unhook the drive belt. Lastly, take out the three bolts from the pulley openings to uninstall the power steering pump.
