2007 Jeep Wrangler Clutch Slave Cylinder Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Install and Service a Clutch Slave Cylinder on 2007 Jeep Wrangler?
A: First, mount the slave cylinder (3) in the transmission, before doing anything else. Second, connect the hydraulic line to the slave cylinder while the bracket is in place on the line; ensure the O-ring is there as well. After that, screw in the slave cylinder nuts (1) and tighten them to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.). The last step is to bleed the hydraulic fluid.
