2007 Jeep Wrangler Release Bearing Parts and Q&A
Q: How to install a Release Bearing on 2007 Jeep Wrangler?
A: Before putting in the clutch release bearing, spread some Mopar high temperature bearing grease or a similar product on the end of a long shank, small diameter flat blade screwdriver to reach the crankshaft pilot bearing that fits in the clutch disc hub. After that, apply lube to the input shaft splines, bearing retainer slide, fork pivot and release fork pivot. After that, install release 1 onto the release fork and fix it in place before adding the transmission.
