How to Install the Shift Cable for Park-Interlock on 2007 Jeep Wrangler?

It is important to make sure the gearshift cable is secure and properly installed before beginning on the park-interlock cable. Insert the park-interlock cable (3) into the park-interlock mounting hole in the steering column and snap the park-interlock cable tie strap into the center tube beside it. Carry the cable to the shifter mechanism and put the cable end into the lever of the shifter (1). Fit the cable adjuster ears into the floor shifter bracket, move the ignition key to LOCK and close the cable adjuster lock clamp downwards. After that, inspect how the park-interlock system works and attach the floor console and its trim.
