Before removing the bearing caps, you should wet them with penetrating oil. First, take out the axle shaft and then remove the bearing cap snap rings on the stub shaft yoke bearing caps. After that, place the receiver/socket and driver/socket on the stub shaft yoke in the press, pressing the bearing cup into the receiver/socket. Lift off the bearing cover from the stub shaft yoke, set the receiver/socket against the remaining bearing cup and put the driver/socket on top of the U-joint cross in the press, so the press can push the bearing cup into the receiver/socket. Take the bearing cap off the stub shaft yoke and take out the stub shaft from the U-joint cross. Take the snap rings from the shaft yoke bearing caps, slide the receiver/socket and driver/socket on the shaft yoke into the press and place the bearing Cup into the receiver/socket. After removing the bearing cap from the shaft yoke, place the receiver/socket below the remaining bearing cup and the driver/socket on the U-joint cross onto the press, so the bearing cup is inserted into the receiver/socket. Once finished, remove the bearing cap from the shaft yoke and also take out the U-joint cross from there.
