2007 Jeep Wrangler Washer Reservoir Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Maintain a Washer Reservoir for a Diesel Engine on 2007 Jeep Wrangler?
A: For refilling of the windshield washer reservoir, ensure you first turn off the negative battery cable. Pour the washer fluid from reservoir (3) into a fresh container for storing it. Take out the wire that connects the engine compartment wire harness to the washer pump or motor (5). It is important to remember how the washer hoses are connected before you take them off. Remove the front and rear washer hoses (6) attached to the washer pump which is on the outboard side of the reservoir. Uncover screw (2) that joins the hook on top of the reservoir to the top radiator fan shroud U-nut (8). Draw the reservoir from the vehicle far enough that the front T-tab (4) lifts up off of its home in the shroud, along with the two bottom tabs (7). Finally, remove the washer reservoir from your engine area.
