How to Maintain a Wiper Motor on 2007 Jeep Wrangler?

Begin by removing and separating the battery negative cable when servicing the wiper motor. After that, take out the front wiper arms from their pivots and lift off the cowl cover/grille panel over the front wiper module. Disappear the wire harness connector (5) with the receptacle that supplies the front wiper motor (3). Afterward, pull out the two screws (2) holding the front wiper module (4) bracket to the cowl plenum. Lift the front wiper module to lift the rubber isolator out of the slot in the forward wall of the cowl plenum and then remove the entire module.
