How to Service and Repair a Trunk Lid Latch on 2008 Chrysler 300?

Before reaching the trunk or liftgate latch, lift the deck lid and take out the negative battery cable for safety. After that, take off the cover on the latch that is inside the deck lid. Remove the body wire harness connecter from the latch connector. Remove the screws attached to the latch on the inside of the deck lid. Take out the latch afterward.
