How to Service a Crankshaft Seal on 2008 Chrysler Crossfire?

You should remove the flywheel before you start servicing the crankshaft main bearing seal. After that, take out the two bolts holding the crankshaft end cover and remove the end cover. Get rid of the end cover and oil seal located at the back of the crankshaft. After that, clean the engine block and the oil pan gasket so that you are ready to install the new parts, since the engine seal and end cover have to be changed as a complete set.
