  • Q: How to Remove a Sway Bar Kit from the Rear on 2008 Chrysler Crossfire?
    A: You should first lift the car, support it and then remove the rear tires and wheels before removing the sway bar kit. After that, take out the wheel speed sensors from each wheel, then remove the brake hoses from the rear calipers. Remove both the rear springs and shocks and then unhook the cables of the rear parking brake from the equalizer. Afterward, take out the nuts on the rear axle differential carrier and remove the propeller shaft. Unhook and remove the sway bar links from the bar at the rear of the vehicle. Combine a suitable lifting device with the rear axle carrier to brace it and afterwards remove both rear-to-front and front-to-rear bolts attached to the rear axle carrier. Drop the rear differential housing about 4 - 5 inches to fit the shackle out of the way. Remove the nuts from the studs on the rear sway bar clamp, disconnect the sway bar from the axle carrier and alongside the vehicle, pull the sway bar out.
