First, jack up and support the vehicle and, second, take away the wheels and tires to service or repair the sway bar kit. Then, take out the speed sensors on each side of the wheels and disconnect the rear brake hoses from the calipers at the back. With the rear springs and shock absorbers removed, also take out the parking brake cables from the parking brake equalizer. After that, remove the nuts securing the propeller shaft to the rear axle differential carrier and take out the propeller shaft. Take the rear sway bar links away from the bar and lift and support the axle carrier using an appropriate lifting gear. Loosen and take out the two bolts securing the rear axle carrier to the front part of the frame and then do the same for the bolts at the rear end of the frame. Drop the rear differential housing by 4 - 5 inches so you can take out the sway bar kit. In the end, loosen the nuts holding the clamps to the studs and use the sway bar kit to move it off the carrier and away from the car.
