How to Service a Camshaft Position Sensor on 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

The first thing to do when servicing the Camshaft Position Sensor is take off the air cleaner lid and unhook the inlet air temperature sensor and its hose. Then, remove the negative battery cable from its terminal. After that, release the electrical connectors from the camshaft sensor, then take out the mounting screws to pull out the sensor. After that, loose the screw that holds the target magnet to the camshaft at the back.
