  A: At first, assemble the camshaft so that the target magnet's end faces the camshaft and its locating dowels are placed in the machine-made locating holes. Tighten the screw to 3.5 Nm (32 in. lbs.), but be sure not to tighten it too much because it might crack the magnet and it needs to be replaced if this occurs. Then, secure the camshaft position sensor and turn the sensor mounting screws to a torque of 9 Nm which is the same as 80 in. lbs. Make sure to install the electrical connector to the camshaft position sensor flat, so you do not bend or damage its wiring pins. Then, attach the negative battery cable again and mount the lid on the air cleaner. Be sure both the inlet air temperature sensor and the makeup air hose are connected.
