How to Service and Repair a Camshaft Position Sensor on 2.0/2.4L Engines on 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Remove the air cleaner lid and free the inlet air temperature sensor and its hose to service or repair the camshaft position sensor on 2.0/2.4L engines. After that, remove the ground terminal from the battery and the electrical plug from the camshaft position sensor. When that is done, get rid of the screws holding the camshaft position sensor in place, taking out the sensor afterward. Now, loosen the screw holding in the target magnet at the back of the camshaft.
