How to Service and Repair a Front Wiper Arm on 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Always turn the wiper arm/blades into the PARK position and switch the ignition OFF to service or repair the front wiper arm. Raise the hood and then use your special trim stick or its equivalent to carefully pop up the wiper arm nut cap and take it out. Then, loosen and remove the nut from the wiper arm and remove the arm from the pivot using light rocking as you guide it into the over/centered position. At last, get rid of the pieces of metal that might be attached to the pivot shafts.
