How to Properly Install a Wiper Arm for Optimal Performance on 2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Once before you start, put the wiper system in the park position to verify the module is set properly. Adjust the wiper arms so that both driver's and passenger's blades tip lines are just before the park line on the windshield. While positioning the arm, place it on the pivot as it is over or in the center of travel. Secure the wiper arm with the retaining nut and tighten it with 21 Nm (190 in. lbs.). Place the wiper arm nut cap in position and shut the hood after that.
