Knock sensor in 2.0 and 2.4L models is fitted to the engine block underneath the intake manifold underneath the starter. Install the sensor and screw the electrical connector into place and tighten the bolt to a 22 Nm (195 in. lbs.) to guarantee proper functionality. Lastly, supply the negative battery cable again.
