How to Properly Install a Camshaft on 2008 Chrysler Town & Country?

To avoid harming the camshaft journals while looking at the assembly, make sure you are very careful when starting to mount the camshaft. Before putting the camshaft into the cylinder head, lubricate the bearing journals, lobes and seal with clean engine oil. Then, fit the camshaft thrust plate after applying a new gasket and tighten its fasteners to 28 Nm or 250 in. lbs. Following that, screw in the rocker arms and finish the process of assembling the cylinder head.
