How to Maintain a Shock Absorber on 2008 Chrysler Town & Country?

You should raise and support the vehicle before tackling the rear shock absorber. Slide a transmission jack or alternative next to the shock absorber under the axle and raise it until the axle is fully raised. Then, take out the bolts at the axle and nuts from the lower mounting point which is bolt 4. After that, remove bolt 2 and nut 1 of the shock absorber upper mount from the body bracket and then take the shock absorber 5 out of the vehicle.
