Always use only
Coil Springs that match the side of the car when installing the front suspension strut assembly and don't interchange them between sides. First, set the strut assembly into the strut tower, bring the three top strut mount studs into line with the tower holes and tighten them down with three nuts to 28 Nm. After that, fix the cowl grille and
Wiper Arms into place. When inserting the strut clevis-to-knuckle bolts, remember that they are serrated; so instead, use a wrench to hold the clevis bolt and put on the nuts. If the vehicle has special eccentric cam strut attaching bolts, set the eccentric cam bolt into the slotted hole at the bottom of the strut clevis bracket. Join the bottom of the assembled left strut with its knuckle, set the two strut clevis-to-knuckle bolts and tighten them to 88 Nm after adding an extra 90° turn. Repeat these steps for the right strut. Pass the stabilizer bar link mounting stud through the furthest hole at the back of the strut assembly bracket and then tighten the nut to 88 Nm without allowing the stud to turn. You must note that one screw should be put in from the back for the left sensor assembly, but from the front for the right. Mount the wheel speed sensor routing bracket on the strut assembly and tighten the screw to 10 Nm. Place the wheel and tire on the axle, tighten the nuts on the wheel mounting to 135 Nm, lower the vehicle and complete a wheel alignment if necessary.
