How to remove and replace a Driver Air Bag on 2008 Dodge Caliber?

When removing the air bag, first open the hood, take off the negative battery cable and pause for two minutes for the system reserve capacitor to drain. Using the steering wheel, slowly pop the driver air bag bolt covers off and remove the two holding bolts. Slide the air bag out of the vehicle and unplug the two air bag squib connectors after pulling it rearward. The Clock Spring must be replaced at the same time as the deployed air bag if you are to keep the system functioning correctly.
