How to Service the Air Bag Sensor in the Side B-Pillar on 2008 Dodge Caliber?

Disconnect the negative cable from the battery, then let the system reserve capacitor discharge for two minutes before starting to service the air bag components. After that, take out the lower trim panel around the B-pillar. Take the sensor 2 off the vehicle by starting with the screw 1 and then removing the sensor with the harness.
