2008 Dodge Challenger ABS Control Module Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Install the ABS Control Module on 2008 Dodge Challenger?
A: The first thing to do is clean the HCU and ABM mating surfaces from any debris. Since reusing old safety valve, the seals can allow moisture and debris to get in, replace all of them if they are not new; never reuse old solenoid valve stem seals. If the cube uses a used pump/motor connector O-ring, change it and ensure it fits into the channel the right way. Place the components together and secure the ABM with four screws at 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.). Move the ICU above the grommets, then press it securely into place by snapping the bracket. Attach the rear brake tubes to the routing clip under the Fuse And Relay Center and attach the right front brake tube to the routing clip on that bracket also. Fit the brake tubes into the two parts of the routing bracket on the radiator's top. Before fitting the connector onto the ABM, confirm that the seal is secure in its place in the connector. Insert the ABM harness connector into the connector on the ABM, then close the cover so that it locks. Make sure to connect the battery negative cable to the battery post afterward, doing it carefully. Perform the ABS test and solve any issues found from it.
