2008 Dodge Challenger Power Steering Hose Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Power Steering Hose on 2008 Dodge Challenger?
A: Start the procedure by disconnecting and isolating the negative battery cable from the battery post. Saw the power steering fluid from the pump reservoir, then take out the air cleaner housing along with its inlet tube to the throttle body. Untighten the tube nut cotter pin and disconnect the pressure hose from the pump. Raise and stabilise the vehicle, then remove the belly pan. Thereafter, loosen the screw that attaches the pressure hose routing clamp to the front of the engine cradle, then remove the screw securing the pressure- and return-hose routing clamps to the right side of the engine cradle. Lastly, unscrew the pressure hose tube nut from the steering gear and pull the hose out of the vehicle.
