2009 Dodge Challenger Power Steering Hose Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Power Steering Hose from Gear to Cooler for Return Hose on 2009 Dodge Challenger?
A: To begin servicing or repairing the power steering return hose from the gear to the cooler, unconnect and separate the negative battery cable first. Drain the power steering fluid from the pump reservoir and then lift up and hold the car. First, take out the belly pan and next pull out the hose clamp to separate the return hose from the cooler. Afterwards, remove the screw holding the routing clamps for the pressure and return hoses fixed on the right side of the engine cradle. Release the nut that fastens the return tube to the steering gear, lift off the return tube from the fixing point on the cooling module and take it from the auto.
