How to Detach a Rear Shock Absorber on 2008 Dodge Challenger?

Before anything else, be sure to raise and secure the vehicle to remove the shock absorber from the rear. After that, remove the three nuts securing the wheel and take out the tire and wheel. Place an under-hoist utility jack or jack stand beneath the outside spring link, so the suspension only slightly rebounded when bolts are taken out and shock absorber is removed. After that, unfasten the lower mounting bolt and nut from the shock absorber and remove the upper mounting bolts as well. Last, lift off the shock absorber.
