2008 Dodge Durango Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Locate and Remove the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor on 2008 Dodge Durango?
A: The IMT sensor can be found in the air intake resonator close to the gasket around the throttle body. Take off the air intake resonator from the throttle body before you try to remove the sensor. Following that, remove the connector from the IMT sensor. First, wipe off any dirt where the resonator meets the sensor base, then lift the tiny release tab and twist the sensor 1/4 turn counter-clockwise to remove it. Always inspect the sensor O-ring at the end of the maintenance.
