How to Safely Remove a Tie Rod End on 2008 Dodge Durango?

Before taking out the tie rod end, loosen its jam nut 3. After that, remove the outer tie rod end 2 nut 1 from the ball stud. Split the attachment between the knuckle and outer tie rod end 2 with the help of Remover 8677. To help during reassembly and when adjusting toe, count each turn as you take out the outer tie rod end from the inner tie rod. Try not to twist the boot at all while you are working on it, whether it is installed or uninstalled.
