  A: You should always disconnect the wire to the fluid level switch from the bottom of the reservoir before servicing the power brake booster in a left-hand drive vehicle. After that, remove the master cylinder. Take out the vacuum hoses from the booster check valve and, if necessary, remove the brake lines from both the master cylinder and the HCU. Take off the HCU and move it to the side, so you can add the booster. Lift the pedal that is found under the steering column. Take the brake light switch out and get rid of it. Unscrew the retaining clip on the push rod of the booster, remove the two nuts from the booster to the dash panel and take out the retaining nut and clip from the brake pedal. In the engine compartment, first take out the booster studs from the dash panel, move the booster up and remove it.
