  A: Start the service of a vacuum brake booster by unplugging the fluid level switch at the bottom of the reservoir. After that, take out the master cylinder and detach the vacuum hoses from the booster check valve. Disconnect the brake lines from the master cylinder and the HCU to give you more space and detach the HCU from where it is attached, moving it to the side. After removing the knee blocker under the steering column, take out the brake lamp switch, throwing it away so it cannot be used again. Release the retaining clip fastening the booster push rod to the brake pedal and then take out the nuts that join the booster to the dash panel. Afterward, in the engine compartment, remove the booster studs from the dash panel, tilt the booster up and slowly pull it free.
