The first step to remove the Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP) (3) is to raise and support the vehicle. After that, take the connector off the CMP sensor and remove the sensor mounting bolt (2). After gently turning the sensor, take it out and observe its o-ring to see if it is damaged.
