Begin by rotating the starter assembly so that it will fit into the transmission. After that, place the two bolts through the mounting holes and fasten them as needed by the torque specifications. Place the battery cable assembly onto the stud, push the solenoid connector onto the solenoid terminal and tighten the nut as the torque requirements say. Next, place the starter heat shield and bolt it down with the two bolts. If the vehicle runs on four-wheel drive, insert the front propeller shaft in its place. After that, lower the vehicle and attach the negative battery cable.
