The door doesn't have to be taken off if each hinge is replaced separately and make sure to use a good body sealant when working with the hinges. To begin, open the door, check the alignment of the hinge to both parts and mark with a grease pencil or its equivalent. After that, take out the nuts at the top of the hinge screwed to the door and remove the two bolts attaching the hinge to the B-pillar.
