How to Service an Alternator on 2008 Dodge Ram 2500?

To service the alternator disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the drive belt. For the INA decoupler use Special Tool #8823, which is used to determine the type of shaft and to break loose by turning clockwise. For the Litens Decoupler use Special Tool #8433 and go through the same process.
