  • Q: How to Properly Install an Ignition Coil on 2008 Dodge Viper?
    A: First, attach the ignition coil to the valve cover, after which secure it with bolts tightened to 7 Nm (62 in. lbs.). You should install the electrical connector on the ignition coil, connect it and insert the ignition cable into that coil next. Unscrew the ignition coil cover bolts, allow them to dry and then apply Mopar(R) Lock and Seal Adhesive. After installing the ignition coils, place the cover on them, secure the lines with four bolts at 12 Nm (106 in. lbs.). After that, link the negative battery cable and tighten the nut until it reaches 10 Nm (90 in. lbs.).
