  A: Begin by removing the surrounding covers on the cylinder heads, before handling the intake manifold. After that, place the new gasket and then set the intake manifold in place, tightening it with bolts. Twist the bolts to 12 Nm (106 in. lbs.). Then, bond the purge solenoid vacuum line, fuel line (1), brake booster hose (2), PCV hose (5) and throttle body electrical connectors. After that, put on the new harness retainer (2) and place the air cleaner housing (1) over it. Fit the intake hoses to the air inlet, the make up air hose to the top of the system and the MAF electrical connector for exhaust (2,4). After that, attach the battery cables to the battery and the alternator (1,3).
