  A: Before putting in the intake manifold, lift off the cover from the cylinder head ports and check the intake manifold seals, then replace them if they show any damage. Apply Mopar(R) brake cleaner to the mating surfaces and place the intake manifold, connecting them with the supplied bolts. For production use only, the rubber collar does not need to be renewed. First, tighten the bolts to 8 Nm (70 in lbs.) and then tighten them again to 13 Nm (106 in lbs.). After that, install the purge solenoid vacuum line, fuel line, brake booster hose, PCV hose, MAP sensor electrical connector and the throttle body electrical connector. Connect the new harness retainer to the fender well and put in the air cleaner housing. The last step is to hook the battery cables together.
