  • Q: How to Remove the Power Steering Pump for 3.7L and 4.7L Engines on 2008 Jeep Commander?
A: For 3.7L and 4.7L engines, first remove the content of the power steering reservoir before unmounting the pump. Then, separate both ends of the cooler return hose from the reservoir and remove the nut on the pressure hose at the pump. After that, remove the serpentine drive belt. Raise the car again and remove the three bolts holding the pump, then take the pulley off if you must.
