How to Install a Shift Cable on 2008 Jeep Commander?

Installation of the gearshift cable is required, to pass it through the dash panel to the shifter assembly, install the grommet, and install the retainer. Dress the cable on the pin at the shift lever, ensure the transmission is PARK and tighten the adjusting nut. Fit the parts of the console and dash back together.
