How to remove the front upper control arm on 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

First, lift the vehicle and place support under the axle. At this stage, you will remove the wheel and tire, then pull the inner fender well off too (2). After that, take out the upper ball joint retaining nut and use tool #8677 to unfasten the upper ball joint (2) from the knuckle (3). With that done, remove the nut and bolt (1) locking the upper control arm (5) to the body and then take the upper control arm (5) out of the vehicle.
