How to Repair and Service the Seat Heater Switch in the 2nd Row on 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

First, disconnect the negative battery cable before working on or repairing the seat heater switch in the 2nd row. After that, use a trim stick (special tool C-4755) or an equivalent tool to carefully pry up the upper edge of the floor console rear trim panel to release the retaining clips around it. Pull up and back on the panel to remove the lower tabs at the floor console. When the equipment is available, remove the electrical connectors from the floor console rear panel for the 2nd row heated seat switches, 115 Volt power outlet and auxiliary audio jacks. In the end, use the C-4755 trim stick (or an equivalent tool) to lightly lift the switch assembly out of the trim panel.
