How to Install a Window Regulator in the Front Door on 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Open the large access hole in the front door, push the regulator (3) into the room and hook the wire harness connector (4) onto the motor. Glide the glass into the clamps on the regulator and add the bolts (1 and 2), secure the rail to the door and fasten them to 8.5 Nm (75 in. lbs.). Take off the tape securing the glass when it's all the way up, then temporarily fit the window switch to raise the glass to its maximum height. Tighten the bolts in the window regulator clamps to 12 Nm (105 in. lbs.) in each. After that, fit the watershield and the trim panel onto the inside of the front door.
