How to Service and Repair a Clutch Master Cylinder on 2008 Jeep Liberty?

Before you start on the Clutch Master Cylinder repair, loosen the actuator rod securely established on the clutch pedal pin. After that, take out the hose from the clutch master cylinder and use a plug to prevent any fluid from draining. Pull the wiring off the pedal switch and unhook the clip from the hydraulic line to take it out of the clutch master cylinder. To finish, tighten the clutch master cylinder assembly clockwise one quarter turn and withdraw it from where it was mounted to the brake booster.
