How to Install a Drive Shaft on 2008 Jeep Liberty?

Before putting in the propeller shaft, make sure all its bolts are clean and apply Mopar(R) Lock & Seal Adhesive or one that's similar to the threads on the shaft. Following that, fit the propeller shaft into place, making sure that the marks between the shaft flange and axle flange line up. In addition, match the reference mark near the transmission/transfer case flange to the one on the propeller shaft flange. After that, put in the propeller shaft bolts through the axle flange and tighten them to 108 Nm or 80 ft. lbs. Place the last bolts on the propeller shaft inside the transmission/transfer case flange and fasten them to a pressure of 108 Nm (80 ft. lbs.).
