How to Install a Drive Shaft on 2007 Jeep Liberty?

Before fitting the drive/propeller shaft, first clean all bolts and coat the threads with Mopar Lock & Seal Adhesive or Loctite 242. Slide the slip yoke so that it sits on the output shaft of the transmission/transfer case. Tighten the transmission flange bolts for a manual 4x2 to 115 Nm or 85 ft. lbs. for a simpler upfit. Line up the marks on the flanges with those on the propeller shaft. After that, attach the companion flange bolts and tighten them to 115 Nm (85 ft. lbs.). If your bicycle has dust boots, use a clamp installer to tighten the clamps.
