• Q: How to Properly Install a Fog Light Bulb on 2008 Jeep Liberty?

  A: Have the proper bulb on hand to prevent the fog light, socket and wiring from burning out. Keep oil and dirty fingertips from touching the bulb glass, as this will hasten the bulb's failure. Connect the bulb and base with the keyed opening on the back of the front lamp unit housing on the back of the front end module carrier. Insert the bulb into its housing with the base going down, then give it a quarter-turn clockwise so it holds firmly in place and points straight down with the bulb connector receptacle. Reconnect the wire harness to the socket at the end of the bulb and after that, join the negative cable to the battery.
