- Q: How to Properly Service and Replace a Fascia-Mounted Fog Light Bulb on 2007 Jeep Liberty?A: Be sure to use the right bulb for your fascia-mounted fog lights to prevent the lamp, socket or wiring from being damaged by overheating. Don't touch the bulb glass with your hands and prevent the bulb from coming into direct contact with anything oily. Place the fog lamp bulb flange so it matches up with the back lens reflector's mounting flange, then insert the bulb and press until it sits neatly in its housing. After that, lift the bulb retainer clip over the bulb flange, pinch the two hooked ends together and put them into the slots in the mounting flange to keep the bulb from moving. Attach the fog lamp's bulb wire back to its connector. Join the lens and bezel into the fog lamp housing and see to it that the lamp's wiring isn't caught between the two fittings. Now, insert three screws in the bezel and lens to secure them to the back of the housing, apply 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.) and plug in the negative battery terminal.
