How to Service and Repair a Rear Wiper Arm on 2008 Jeep Liberty?

Before you can service or repair, unsnap and remove the plastic nut cap 4 that is located at the end of the wiper arm 3. Then, take off the nut 5 that holds the wiper arm onto the rear wiper motor output shaft 1. Rock the car slightly and pull the wiper arm free from the rear 1 pivot end and the output shaft 2. You can use a battery terminal puller 3 to remove the wiper arm from the output shaft in the event that standard tools are not enough. Lastly, take off the rear wiper arm pivot end from the motor output shaft.
